Or do you think it's learned?  How do we obtain morality?

I think morals are learned and are dependent on the society that someone lives in.  Different cultures and societies have different morals and this can cause a culture clash.  Religions can sometimes have a different set of morals and each person has their own set.:  some people view homosexuality as morally wrong while others see it as something natural and that it has nothing to do with morals; Some people have a moral objection to the death penalty while others don't; etc.

I know my views on things don't always coincide with other people, particularly with my view on morals and ethics.

I agree with that but it makes me wonder if people of all different religion, societies, and cultures etc how would we feel about basic morals such as lying, cheating, stealing, murder etc?

I'd like to know that, too.  I'd like to say most, if not all, would object to those, but I don't know.

I got in a slight argument with someone I know over Robin Hood because I called Robin Hood a thief because he stole.  However, the person I know said he wasn't a thief because the king had stolen the money first.

IMO morality is fluid dependant on the situation and the context.

Stealing a loaf of bread to feed someone who is starving and on the verge of death... is that morally wrong?

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3
