You know you pass when:
People start asking for directions on the street again >.>
To be clear I used to be stopped for directions a lot...clearly I had a very approachable and driven "I know where I am and where I am going" look about me in the past...
But since I began to transition, I had gotten used to the overt social responses to my presence of "Don't look it in the eyes honey! Overt your gaze and shuffle around the terrifying trans person's wake...lest it infect us with its straaaange".
So after around 6 months of that reaction, you can imagine my surprise when a couple came up to me and asked me where a local landmark was last week, I was genuinely flabbergasted!
At first I thought is must have simply been a fluke mistake from a pair of clearly visually challenged individuals...or that they possibly had the ingenious idea to ask one of the local sex workers...since they would clearly know the best route to all the obscure back streets and public landmarks in the city...but it's happening with increasing regularity once more

So yay for once more attaining my appearance of confidence and geographical awareness...the only downside of this of course, is having to reveal to these nice people that I am actually almost completely inept when it comes to navigating to or from anything that I cannot see within my direct line of sight...and even that can be difficult should it lack a giant floating quest marker over it's head >.>

Videogames, you are a cruel mistress...
