You have a future as a song writer Cindy. 
A Steel Guitar slide is a chrome plated piece of steel about 3" long, so it is unlikely to slide down the back of the sofa cushions.  So where has it gone?  Picks I can understand, they are small.

Women!  My sister couldn't find her purse and was late for work. She finally asked her hubby where it was. It was on her shoulder of course.

Either theses aliens are just playing with certain people or they can be......
