Initial Appoint today for HRT

At 1:00 EST (in roughly 4 1/2 hours) I have my initial appointment with my Dr. regarding HRT!  I'm super excited, super nervous and a little scared all in one.  I know I'm ready and that this is what I want, but it's still a little scary.  I can't wait though!  I just can't believe it's finally here, wow!  I got NO sleep last night because my mind was just racing all night.  She has my letter from my therapist already so I'm hoping I'll get the script today, but I don't know how she works and if I'll need a couple of appointments 1st or what.

She was super nice.  I didn't get the script this time, but hopefully next month when I go back.  I have to get blood drawn in 3 weeks, go for a GYN exam (ugh!  Although this GYN has worked with other Trans patients and is very open and accepting) and then go back in a month for a Phsyical and as long as everything comes back okay we'll be good to go.   She has people come back in a month so that they have time to think everything over and make sure they're really ready and that this is truly what they want to do (to which my Aunt responded; "She doesn't know you at all does she?" haha).  I've waited this long, what's one more month.  I got the initial appointment underway and the ball rolling; that's a start.  What a great way to kick off the weekend. 🙂
