Hello, everyone.  I've been reading from the bushes for about 2 months now. I've wanted to post and say something for a while but just now built up the courage to do so.  I came out to a friend of mine in February and to my wife shortly after. I'm still kinda stuck in a bit of a mental limbo right now, but, I must say, reading a lot of the topics and responses on here has made me feel a lot less awkward. You all are helping people without even realizing it!  Anyway, a little about me. I'm 28, half-asain, and just recently cemented that I'm a MTF. I haven't started any steps toward a transition or anything, but I'm eyeballing a gender therapist pretty hard. I've felt something was amiss since about 13 or 14 and just realized definitively that I'm trans about 2 months ago. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and thank you all for the wealth of information on this site. I'm not sure what my journey holds in store, except for the fact that there is a great community for me to share the ups and downs with.  Nice to meet ya!!!

Hey welcome to Susans!

This site helped me before I registered too!  It can be a real life saver sometimes.  Congrats for looking into a gender therapist very seriously and for having a good attitute about your journey.  We would love to share these ups and downs with you.  Hope to see you around! -hugs- :)

Welcome to the site, hon. :)

There are a lot worse things to do in bushes than read. ;D Not that I know what they are, of course. Although I've heard that foliage gets stuck in places you'd really rather it didn't so eventually you have to emerge from them.

...

Not sure what that slightly odd tangent there was all about. Chalk it up to early morning posting, I suppose. ;) Anyways, it's good to meet you, come on in and make yourself at home. Nice big couches are better to read from. :D

*hugs*

Hi and welcome,

Just a review of the rules

Hi, and welcome to Susan's! We have people come to visit us from all over the world, expressing different points of view, and you are likely to find someone to help you along your way

Here are some important links and things to ponder as you begin your journey here.

•   Site Terms of Service and rules to live by are in the announcement area and include:
•   Standard Terms and Definitions
•   Post Ranks ( including when you can upload an avatar/post links and photos)
•   Age and the Forum
•   Reputation rules
Feel free to post and discuss anything within the rules, if you make a mistake, don't panic, report it to a Mod, there is a button to the right of your post.
If a post upsets, or is insulting to you report it to a Mod. Do not take action yourself. We are here to help you and maintain the site for all.
Our mission is to be a support site for gender dysmorphic people of any situation, so feel at home and feel comfortable. You are now family.

As Sephirah said pull up a chair and join in with the gang. We are all over the world. I'm in Australia and have lots of Asian friends here.
