Is this haircut stupid?

I think it looks unique and funky! It would be pretty spiffy but you'd probably have to make sure you style it otherwise it would look a little strange...to bad you can't see what it looks like unstyled

I think if you have straight hair and don't style it, then it won't look good. Keeping the volume and keeping it going back would be hard to maintain.

The haircut is okay, but it would look a lot better clean shaven.  It just doesn't work with a beard.

I had a haircut similar to that a few months back. I ended up styling it in a pompadour. It was ok for me. I didn't get any weird looks...

I dont think its that wierd, alot of guys where I live have this kind of haircuts.

but I think how it fits or not, really depends on the rest of your body, the shape of your face and so on, thats how its always is with hair.

I myself been thinking about getting something sidecut as well, just alittle longer and not so macho.

I think it all just depends if you feel comfortable in it and feel like you pull it off the way you want to...everyone will always see things differently

I think you have to have kind of the right shape of face/head to really pull that hair cut off. Also keep in mind that the hair doesn't usually stay like that because it's all shaved underneath and long on top, the top part is going to fall over the sides a lot, unless you use a lot of product in your hair to keep it that way all the time.

Not my cup of tea. It looks hard to maintain. It would depend on face shape and maintaince, is my impression. I am a fan of the "roll out of bed and call it good" look. Sometimes I wet it if I have half sticking out and half laying flat, which happens. That is about as much care as I give to my hair.
