Someone enlighten me please, are there any side effects when you start T? I seriously don't want it to make me feel awful or sick or anything. I don't take medication for anything, the last time I even took so much as a Tylenol I was only like 9 years old.

I assume you mean temporary side effects ;D

Uhm there really should be a list! But if there is I couldn't find it when I looked for me !

I had trouble sleeping for the first night or two after my shot (and still do) and for the first month and a bit horrible muscle cramps there was probably more but I forget now (yea yea my memory sucks) but I'm sure the other lads will be in soon enough to add in the odd things they noticed :)

Congrats on t :)

I wouldn't consider testosterone a "medication", but your liver has to process it just like anything else that goes through your body.
It shouldn't make you feel sick.

I haven't known anyone get "sick" from taking T.  IIRC, insideontheoutside had a different reaction.  Some people are tired initially, but I often wonder if that's more of mental thing rather than physical.  Like, the relief of finally getting on T might exhaust someone if it's been a long/hard road to get there.

Your body already has T in it.  This is just additional T to get the right levels.

The only things I noticed in the initial weeks were a series of hot flashes that soon disappeared, a little reddening of my complexion and that was it.  I didn't have any muscle symptoms nor did I feel sick at all.

Had/have soreness where it was injected. That was pretty much it. I was on top of the moon after I got my first shot, and that lasted for two days. By the third day I was wiped, but it also could have something to do with the fact that we were running out like crazy trying to get everything ready for my partner to leave. So, aside from the soreness which I can for certain attribute to the injects, I haven't had any "side effects" in the sense that you are asking about. I have had physical changes, but that was the whole point.

Every injection or pills had its sideeffects. they should probably be lised in your medication box.
the most usual ones are those things you get as a usual teeneger, meaning, acne, mood change, dry skin,
depending all from person to person. I also found it to change my apatit alittle, I eat alot more after T I feel than pre T.
but again this is also a part of changing your homones and you cant really choose this or that. some of the changes happents more of some guys than others, ex I didnt get as much acne as I know others had..

if you have a good doctor you can check you and make sure your homone level is fine then it would be no problem,
I also used to hear storys about how ill you would get by homones but it really didnt seam to do much beside the homonel changings..

there are few transguys I heard who didnt work well on homones, or on certain type of homones, but if one part isnt working for you maybe another one is. I think I only heard about 1 transguy in my life who said his body didnt work well with homones, and I talked to a few in my years...

I started T about two days ago, I was worried about the same thing. But any 'side effects' I've felt that is bad or unwanted was just the soreness where I injected. It's still there. It's actually pretty sore to the point where it hurts to bend my leg. (I injected my thigh). Other than that, I haven't really felt anything bad.

Thanks guys, that took a load off my mind. I was afraid I was going to feel miserable or something after putting something somewhat-new into my body. I'm just weird about what goes in me, but this made me feel a lot better about it. I appreciate it!
