I am visiting the 2012 Expo site to attend an international symposium. I came here by airplane, and will return home by a ferry boat. Most visitors here are now aged or retired people who do not work during weekdays. From airport to the Expo site:

I have not yet had time to see exhibition pavilions at the Expo site. Just some photos near the hotel where I am staying.









Today is Saturday, and I may have a chance to sightsee some pavilions. Definitely I will have luch at the German pavilion where beers are provided.

It should be summer, but temperature is mild. As it is Sunday, I went to a coast near my home town. There were an old outdoor bathhouse where people can wash with seawater.

Wearing heels in the campus would be a challenge for me. Short pants can be allowed to wear. Some aged men used to say that just exposing my bare legs is virtually lascivious. As it is getting warmer, I wore short pants with sneakers at my university.

I use an iphone application called 'camera timer' to take shelf images. When I tried it, a man on the bycycle asked me whether he can take photos for me. I just declined.

Camera timer application of Iphone is nice to take outdoor photos. Iphone is easy to carry outdoors and the photo quality is satisfactory. Today morning I ran to a small mountain and visited a neaarby national museum.









It was not so hot. Just nice for outdoor exercising. But the sun is too strong here. My upper body is already tanned, although I usually wear long-sleeve jackets.

Yesterday night, I drank with some men and women who enjoy biking. Some women wanted my phone number and I gave my name card. We sang together at a karaoke.

Today it is too hot and humid, but I ran for about 40 minues. I am exhausted.

August 15 is a national holiday here, and I was in an old town of Seoul to meet my old friends. I enjoyed attention of people in the street. While walking with me, my friends realized how much attention a tall women gets everyday.

Yes, Joann. It is a challenge for me to maintain my body figure as I am getting old. Our level of body metabosim tends to decrease with age. This means we need to eat less while supplying enough essential nutrients to our body. This is not at all an easy job.

I like your tank top, but I usually avoid tank tops as it can expose my flat chest. Nevertheless I once had a tube top, but I guess my wife disposed of it. I wish to have another one, but could not find a similar one at amazon.com.


And another photo in the street of Seoul. Everybody in the photo watched me. Some people still studied me from afar. There is some difference between men and women. Women looked at me straightfowardly, while men looked aside or stole a glance.

Barbie, looking fabulous.  I hope I have the discipline to get in shape like you.  I do not want to be the plus sized girl that I am.  I am figuring all of this out and have much to learn before I am out in public so there is time to get into shape, and you provide some motivation.

Recently a little bit busy traveling, teaching and organizing a workshop.

While traveling, I had a chance to drink wih my colleagues at night in full mode. They took photos for me using my iphone, but some are missing. They took two photos for me while standing next to a young cute girl serving there, but they disappeared.
