Damn! Glad you made it out ok. I agree with Thundra, carrying something with you when you're alone. Try to not be alone at night, at all period. My mom lives in Reno,NV and a couple summers ago we went up to Virginia City (Small town from the late 1800's that has all the orginal buildings). There's a LOT of knife/gun shops up there. I found some brass knuckles (that are illegal) but they have a LITTLE num on them to be a "belt buckle", that's how they get away with selling them. If you haven't started already, start lifting weights. The more you bulk up, the more people won't mess with you. And if they do, well you're stronger to protect yourself. A lot of people will advise you to cooperate with whatever the predator is asking/telling, but honestly if you stand up for yourself, talk back sternly and don't take any s***, they'll back down. They pry on the weak.
