Since I been on here, but I finally have gained enough confidence to start therapy, I think I found a person, so either next week I might start it!! Ever since i realized who i was two years ago, I kept procrastinating, and now I said enough! (:

It's a good step.  The first couple of sessions will probably just be biographical details, and a good therapist will help you to work out what you need to ask yourself.

First off, congrats for taking the plunge!

My first 2 sessions were mostly biographical.. That was kinda hard work, as I had to tell him about things I really didn't want to mention - but he knew when I was skirting around something and would ask pointed questions to draw out the info..

The third session is when we got down to why I was there.. And it all got much easier after that..
