So, I thought I might share my story with those, who might be interested in seeing how the things are done here in Finland. It might not be useful for most of you guys, as I have only seen people from foreign countries so far, but it sure might be interesting to check it out, right?

It's been almost 3 months since my surgery and I still remember the moment when I woke up on the surgery morning. I woke up around 3 am - yes - and I wasn't able to get any more sleep so I just played some games on Facebook.... When it was finally my time to get to the private clinic I was having my surgery, it really was time for panic! After the surgery, I woke up with no pain at all and I heard that they removed something extra for about 1,5 kilos! I was pretty shocked to hear that I actually had moobs that big, but at the same time I was really happy that they were gone now.... I was up from the bed in about 3 or 4 hours after the surgery and I spent the night browsing net with the iPad they had at the clinic. I admit, that it was kind of awkward that I had to stay there over night with 4 talkative women, but in the end, they all were just nice and treated me like they would have been treating any else men - even though they knew what kind of an surgery I've just had. So everything about my stay there was really positive.

I had prepared for the horrible pain for the next coming month, but I only had to eat painkiller for 5 days or so. I had prepared for lots of bruises and a swollen chest, but there was only like one, small light bruise on my chest - I was swollen, but not as badly as I thought! I also was prepared for some numbness, but it was just the opposite. I couldn't wear a shirt in few weeks, because it hurt too much - taking care of my scars was difficult, because even the slightest touch was too much. But now that all is over and here's some photos of how my chest looks like.

First thing I'll show you is my scar.. they are both like that! To me it looks so good I'm not sure if I can believe my own eyes!

And then there's a side image that will show you just how flat I am now!

I had 4 weeks off from school and work.

That's awesome!  Your scars look really good.  I'm glad you had such a positive experience :)

If you don't mind, could you please share your surgeon with us?  That way if someone else were to search for Finland top surgeons, they would have their name.  Thanks!

Oh, of course! I actually thought I did, but I guess I forgot to mention it!

This amazing surgeon was Asko Salmi. :)

Looks great! When did they say you could lift things again, work out, etc?
Also. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it where you are?

I'd be interested in the answers to those too!

Looks like great work!
