I went to the feed store to place an order. I rode up on my horse and one of the guys ther made a rude comment. I know him. Not personaly, but have seen him around with his wife.
He told me when I got my horse that he sure would like to be my saddle. I told him he was gross. He laughed and went on working. He works there.
I was there about an hour or so talking to some of my friends. I saw a truck pull up with this guys wife in it. She came in and was talking. This guy came in after her and went behind the counter acting like a big shot. I yelled over to him and said " Have you told your wife yet you would like to get into the leather thing". You could hear a pin drop. The teenage boys outside that heard him make that remark were laughing their heads off.
I would like to be a fly on the wall to hear what she said to him at home.

Dear Debbie,

Girl you have guts!

P.S.  ...but you have already stood up for yourself by being you.

:eusa_clap: Awesome.  Sounds hilarious and perhaps something I might do myself.  >:D  Some men just need training.

I was really scared the other night in the club. I was mad at myself for not making a scene, and trying not to hurt someone elses feelings.

I guess I had enough at the feed store, and he happened to be my sounding block.

Great job, Deb.  How funny that must have been for him when his wife found out.  Perfect timing.

Hope there are no repercussions for you.

I just got back from the feed store. Brought the truck for them to load it. The rude guy loaded the truck and he appoligized. He said he didn't mean to upset me. He thought I could take a joke.

In all honesty he was just trying to be a smart a _ _ in front of the teenagers. I think he meant it. He would cheet on his wife in a minute.

I think his boss told him to say something.

Nothing else will come of it.

It's great that you stood up for yourself! It definatly would have been cool to hear what his wife had to say! And the mere fact that you ride horses is sooo cool! I want to try and learn to ride a horse. I've lived in Vermont my whole life and only done it once!

Dear Deb,

You bet he would cheat on his wife.

However I think he is not interested in pretty ladies but he was really interested in your horse. :D

You did good.

I would let him have a few minuets with the horse for a price. It would probably produce another jack ass.

I like you!  That's exactly the sort of thing that I pull all the time.  Good for you Deb.

Deb, welcome to the wonderful world of "Get away from me kid, you're botherin' me."

If it happens again, just tell him that you don't use old worn-out saddles.
