As some of you may know, I'm almost 24, post op, and I have never been in a serious long term relationship before. I'm straight, and go solely for guys, but the only guys who have been interested in me were nowhere near my type, and those who I liked have always flaked, turned out to be ->-bleeped-<-s, or turn and run once they know I'm trans.

I don't get it. I'm super girly, educated, have a decent job, take care of myself, and yet I always find myself lying to people about my relationship history because it embarrasses me.

Granted, I was living in the wrong body for the first 22 years of my life, during which I didn't date because I knew it would just complicate things with transition. But now I'm on a few sites, I go out when I'm invited, and I'm involved in fitness groups. What more can I do? Any general advice?

so the guys are completely into you and interested before you disclose that you are trans ? surely not every guy cares about that

That's interesting... the guys I tell always tell me "If you had the operation, I'd go with you in a heartbeat" ... but then again who knows, some guys may be worried about having a kid that shares the same DNA as their lifelong partner or something. Guys are weird :P

No offense guys :D

... yay 1000 posts :P
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.
