So far Nikki has been very blessed with her new job! She is quite happy with the way she is treated over there especially my the team leads, managers and even the human re sourace manager. Nikki has been very open with everybody and I think most people know by now that she is transgendered Hinze her wearing women's slacks and women's button up dress shirts. She seems very happy to actually be fully dressed and to be her self. All of the managers keep coming in the training room and pulling Nikki a side to see how she is like they cater to her. One of her co workers that is also new gave her blue nail polish. I'm not sure what to think on this chick yet because from what Nikki is telling me it seems as if she keeps hitting on my wifey and it kind of makes me jealous. I am happy for Nikki though I'm so glad she has a job and they are already talking about making her I believe a team lead or a supervise in a month or less!
The other day Nikki and I went shopping to buy her women's shirts for work and she was open with the lady at the st tore and told her that she's transgendered, to me it was amazing and a huge step! We also went to payless to buy some dress shoes for her and I for work and when we were leaving this shoe sales older lady said "I'm not sure which of you ladies wear the bigger size but we sell aider variety on line. That made Nikki's and my night because we didn't even tell that lady she was transgendered its like she just knew!
