Hey everyone. So I'm planning on getting my hair cut but i'm a little nervous because I am going to try at a male only hairdressers and I'm worried that when I go through the door they will think I am female and turn me away. My partners cousin usually cuts my hair but because she doesn't know that I want to be male I usually just get her to cut my hair short but she does it so it looks like a female style and this time I want to go even shorter than normal. I could try a unisex hairdresser but I'm worried that if they think I am female they will charge me more. Normally guys can get hair cuts for £5 but they usually charge women about £20! and I don't want that to happen. I do pass quite well as a guy but I do have a very soft and quite feminine face. I will be taking in a photo of a male hair style so hopefully they would just think I am male anyway.

To anyone who isn't on T yet but who is living as male have you ever had any embarrassing moments such as trying a male only hairdresser and people thinking you are female? I'm just a little nervous about it.
