So, I am finally settled in Japanland and now have internet! I am maybe a little too happy about that, but I was missing Susan's.

Hitting over three months on T now, and I have to say, I am liking myself more and more finally. My voice is getting to the point that everyone is noticing. I can't hear it, but according to family and my partner, I sound more and more male all the time. My face shape is starting to change too, but that could be due to weight loss as well as the hormones. The coolest change so far is the appearance and Chester, Frank, Carlos and Murray, my four stomach hairs. I was so happy I named them. No facial hair yet (not that I was expecting it so soon), but I have to shave the peach fuzz off every few days now. I have also noticed a change in my hairline, which is good and bad. I like the changes, I get wish I wasn't shedding all over everything.  I am also down 15 pounds without the aide of pretty much anything. The Japanese don't do unhealthy very well, so even with our diet not being the best, I am dropping weight like crazy. Though, I am willing to bet that a lot of it is due to the constant sweating. The binders are basically sweatsuits. I can't wait to be rid of these things, but I am looking into surgeons to hopefully get something rolling for next year. Any suggestions on good ones? I have heard a lot of good things about several, but it seems like they are all retiring.

As far as passing in Japanland, its going great. I made a post before about being in the awesome situation of not being able to not pass. It is still holding true. People here assume that I am male. The last time I tried to use the women's in a busy station, an old woman kindly pointed out that I was in the wrong bathroom. I apologized to her and she told me to be careful, or else I could get in trouble for being a pervert. So, I have given up on women's rooms and its a great feeling. My partner and I have been acknowledged by other gay couples here and I have even overheard girls talking about which one of us is more sexy - me or my partner. So, even though they were high schools and thus a little too young for me, I think I grew about three inches from hearing it.

Still waiting to get a job, but I looking at potentially bar tending. My language skills are not so great - I can listen like a boss, but I couldn't talk my way out of an empty, well lit room (slight hyperbole, but you get the idea). Still figuring out the order of how I will tell some of my friends that will be visiting when they are in country, but at this point I am okay with it.

It's great to be back though!

Welcome back.  Last we heard, you were setting up in Osaka.

BTW, you are going to run out of names.  How will the other, nameless hairs feel about that?
