Well I walked through a toy store.

Saw a toy that I thought was so cool I got worried by my gender markers in liking it  >:-)

A radio controlled BIG hairy tarantula ( about 8 inches across) AND  a rat. In the same package ( recommended age 8-10)

I can see these as fun toys. I almost bought one, I may still.

I can see the big hairy Tarantula creeping across a colleagues desk and the rat, maybe in the loo,  >:-)

Sorry I just feel evil today.

What cool or uncool toys have you seen?

I still think the coolest toys were big old metal Tonka trucks.

Tho rockets are fun too, especially when aimed at a rivals kite during a kite flying contest.

I missed btw.

One year for christmas my daughter asked for a radio-controlled snake, and I thought such a thing couldn't possibly exist, but I found her one.

Most of what we have is usually dolls and plastic animals, not particularly interesting. Also I play with her toys more than she does.

My son plays Skylanders on the PS3. That is a really cute game. You get to choose from more than 30 different characters.

Let's just say my grandmother has a strange 'sense of humour'
I'm getting a feely feel.. A feely feel that feels.... Feely O.o

LEGO is starting to have some cool sets again!

They used to have a whole wall of LEGOs at the stores, but now they barely have anything, so it's good to see them coming out with stuff. Though I hate how they're coming up with the plots- who this character is, what their motives are... that's my job!

Oh my yes, Recently a new game has been made on kickstarter that mixes Mechs, Strategy RPGs, and Legos. Needless to say I bought some legos and made some really cool suits for the game. x3 It's so much fun to look through the legos in the stores and imagine how you can use the parts to create a new mech.

Am I the only one that thinks the white one is trying to imitate a dinosaur?

This made me lol. Also, idk if anyone reads Dinosaur Comics, but it took me YEARS to realize that the pictures didn't change.

There's a wriggly toy I always play with at the toy store but I also find vaguely disgusting:
