Hi Everyone,

I found this site while browsing and realised that there are many lovely people here that I can share my stories even contribute on your forums.

It has been over two years since I first started hormones and let me tell you that I am enjoying every part of this wonderful journey that I have taken.  Life is full of surprises and when we embrace them with our heart and soul, we are always rewarded.  Just waking up and being who you really are makes such a huge impact in your everyday life.

A photo certainly helps, so I've attached one, so you'll have some idea on how I look like.  I have also uploaded a couple of videos that I've posted on youtube for those who are interested.

I hope to hear from you and who knows we might even catch up some time in the future.

Take care and keep warm :)

Welcome glicious!  You'll be greeted warmly by the Aussie Mafia shortly.  You're passable, judging by your picture.  It is hot in these parts, but it is good for the garden.

Hi glicious,

A quite chilly, but warm hearted Aussie  welcome to Susan's family. Congratulation on achieving such a sense of awareness you have about yourself. That's no easy task, and you have done well. I'd say be proud of yourself, but you probably are already. Which is good. So for the heck of it; be proud of yourself.

Good to meet a fellow sister, and if you are ever interested, there is a group of us that meet at the Paddinton Bowling Club every fortnight for dinner and a chat. You are most welcome. The next one is this Thursday.

Last Friday of the month, another group of us meet at the Well Connected Cafe in Glebe for dinner. Again you are most welcome.

If you need further details, I think you need 15 posts before you can Private Message me, so I'll send you one with my details, should you wish.

In the meantime, there is a mountain of resources, information and friendship for you here. I'm sure our southern and western sisters from Tassie (Karen - probably frozen by now) and Cindy and Kelly from SA would love to meet you.

I'll take your advice and try to keep warm. I look forward to hearing more about you in time to come, you have an absolutely wonderful attitude and outlook on life that seems quite infectious. I'm sure you have a lot of goodness to share here.

Be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

@Joelene. Thank you so much for the ominous greeting  ;D  ;D  :-*  Your ears must have been burning, as I posted.

Thanks :) Very kind of you.
It was raining and miserably cold today...  Nice to know it's blossoming in some other parts of the world :)

Hi glicious,

Cindy from Adelaide where it is cold, cold, cold. But still warmer than some place where it is summer

There are quite a few Aussie girls and boys here and some of us have managed to catch up for dinner and stuff.

Hey Catherine,

Thank you for such a warm welcome and compliments.  I must be living under some rocks.  I had no idea there are social events that some of your girls attend.  I know there was a support group that I visited a while back in Petersham.

If there's one thing that I have learned in the last few years is that you have to at some point drop everything and do what you heart desires.  The result of course as unpredictable as they can be, is something that you have to openly embrace and welcome, because that is what you want.  Although I haven't met so many girls, I have been asked how and what made me be who I am, the answer is simple - when we take our first tablet or injection or patch we look at this as a positive thing and believe that this is a joyful ride.  Once you passed that, you stop worrying, and you'll start living the way you are meant to live, nothing can stop you :)

I would love to get more details, so please drop me some information.  I may not be able to attend the one on this Thursday or the one on Friday (yes somehow my calendar got a little busy) but I would certainly join you for the dinner and chat on 12/July (if there's one?) at Paddo.

Till then, have a lovely afternoon :)

G

Hi glicious, it's nice to meet you! I'm from Boston. As you see, the Aussie Mafia is well behaved. Last time they acted up, we threw all their tea in Boston Harbor and they ran off screaming like a bunch of little girls. No, wait, that was the  British! See  you around, hugs, Devlyn

Thanks Ms Devlyn,  I'm sure I will know how to aptly showcase my 'talents', if someone tries to misbehave
I am learning that this is a warm, friendly, social and supportive circle of fantastic people :)
