I don't know but the Sailor made me break out (where the reelmagic basic packer does not). The difference is the material. I don't think the sailor has any latex in it, but anyway I can wear latex gloves. I don't think it is that serious an allergy. I'm guessing it is more a sensitivity.
But what I saw the other day at ftm group was that someone made kind of a pouch with a sock. They make kind of a sock holder that you can put the thing into. (I think you make a little slit and put the penis part in.) Anyway the pouch he made covered the whole thing, so that if you are bothered by it you can put it inside entirely. Not sure this is completely clear.
One thing you cannot do with the Sailor is hang it using a harness with a o-ring type holder. The Sailor has a weakness between the balls and penis because of how it is made. I think it wears it out and starts falling apart prematurely.
