In the US cost for T in injectable form depends on dose, where you get it, what vial size they have, etc.

It could cost $120 for a couple months, or $50 for almost a year. It's a huge amount of fluctuation.

i don't have a prescription yet still can't find a doctor and plus i don't have insurance either

You don't need insurance.  Just find a therapist, find out their cost and how long it will take you to get a T letter, save up the money, go, get the letter. At the same time find an endo, find out their cost, most will make you pay extra if it is your first visit, save up the money, go when you get the letter, get the script, send it to mail order pharmacy, get the T.

Alternatively, find an endo that doesn't require a letter, save up funds, go, get script, send to mail order pharmacy, get T.

That's what I did because my insurance won't pay for transsexual proceedures or items.

Same. I've had to pay for everything out of pocket except basic general doc visits.
Strohecker's every 5 months for me, $59.95 for T, needles, syringes, alcohol wipes.

The good thing now is that I don't go to that endo anymore, only went twice, now I go to my GP and he writes my script.  Costs me a 15 dollar co-pay and that's it. 

That's about the price I got from APS Pharmacy this past time except they didn't send alcohol wipes Doesn't matter I guess, a $1 box will last me for 50 shots so like 2 years)

Could you try getting state insurance for being low income? Trans stuff at my doctors office is filed under "endocrine disorder non specified" to get things covered. There are also online therapists to get "the letter" if transportation might be an issue. You could just call a bunch of endocrinologists and ask if they would use sliding scale and treat a transgender patient. I will say I needed to see a specialist without insurance and got a $800 quote as the least expensive just to be seen. Labs can cost anywhere from $40-$300.

I'm not sure.  You will need to call around and ask endos if they see transsexual male (make sure you specify FTM) patients and do they require a letter and prices.  You could also call around to GPs.

how long would it take me to get the letter from an online therapist and does it cost a lot..i'm trying to get insurance through my job but i want to make sure they cover transgender things as well or wise i will have to go find an insurance company that will cover transgender clients
