Catheter, um ... I had this issue after my second op, I did mention it, didn't I?
Was shouting for Morphine when I came to – and then 2 more times... wow, yes it CAN get very sore, though my next door room neighbour having the exact same op... had NO PAIN whatsoever according to her telling. Go figure. Really.
It can be absolutely excruciating pain if the catheter was initially put in bit crude or whatever. It's the pain of being stocked up ones urethra and I know --- bad, bad, real bad. The good news... it will abide hon.
Then ALSO do NOT forget... Thai women (and men) as delicate as they may look, are TOUGH! They think westerners are often just too wimpy, so they get all worked up if we get all washed up with pain, and all what goes with it. Different culture, believe me.
Sex change is not for the faint hearted whatever some may think.
But women ARE tough - so are you, doll! It's kind of having a baby... like your FIRST one, eh?

I will get better by the day now.
Hug,
Axélle
