So from what I can gather

Dr. Pichet=horrible surgeon

Right?

He has a very, very bad reputation since 2002; several SRS and FFS horrorstories about his 'results' are  floating around the internet.
He still makes new victims despite very clear warnings from several people.

Anyone heard from her?

This is disgraceful. I'm very worried for her well being

Catheter, um ... I had this issue after my second op, I did mention it, didn't I?
Was shouting for Morphine when I came to – and then 2 more times... wow, yes it CAN get very sore, though my next door room neighbour having the exact same op... had NO PAIN whatsoever according to her telling. Go figure. Really.
It can be absolutely excruciating pain if the catheter was initially put in bit crude or whatever. It's the pain of being stocked up ones urethra and I know --- bad, bad, real bad. The good news... it will abide hon.
Then ALSO do NOT forget... Thai women (and men) as delicate as they may look, are TOUGH! They think westerners are often just too wimpy, so they get all worked up if we get all washed up with pain, and all what goes with it. Different culture, believe me.
Sex change is not for the faint hearted whatever some may think.
But women ARE tough - so are you, doll! It's kind of having a baby... like your FIRST one, eh? :)

I will get better by the day now.

Hi Mandy,

How the things are? Did you get to see any other doctor. Dr Chettawut is a great doctor, make an appointment and see him. And he is very honest, he will not lie to you. Do you have money on you? Do you have medical insurance? I was on my own for my SRS in Thailand and I know what does it feel like being alone in a hotel room and recovering.

Mandy,

I am very upset for what is happening to you. Have you called the American Embassy. If not do so as soon as possible, they will arrange everything for you.

So glad you're still here, Mandy. Things will get better soon! How much more time do you think you have in Thailand?

*hugs*

I was curious about the time difference between Thailand and Seattle, and it's 12 hours to the future. ETA: 14 hours (from Seattle to Thailand)

Where do you live Mandy?

I would gladly chip in to help with a little grocery $ or whatever once you get home safe and sound, its the very least I can do.
