This reminds me of my grandma. She had 20 grandchildren at the time and not a one with a birthday in mid July. So she had an "Un-birthday" at this time of year. We had the usual birthday celebration with the usual pin the tail on the donkey. She did this to save getting all of those presents and remembering all of the birthdays the year 'round. It had nothing to do with the Mad Hatter, but she did read Alice in Wonderland to us grandkids. RIP Grandma, I love you.
