I have worn  "Red Door" by Elizabeth Arden for a long time.... I still love it and have a half a bottle.  I recently became hooked on Este Lauder "Youth Dew".  It was recommended to me by my makeup lady at the mall.... I love Este Lauder lip and eye products, and now I am a fan of their perfume :)

I don't usually wear perfume. If I do, it's Opium because Andi likes it on me.

I used to wear White Diamonds, but they have a "no scent" policy at work now.

Satiate my curiosity, girls.   :)

What do you wear? I wear "Obsession".  And you?   :)

Very rarely because I had a deviated septum which was removed when I was 20 and the surgeon destroyed ~90% of my sense of smell. I literally have to stick my nose in something to smell anything, except the obvious, like hot food, cooking, etc. Otherwise it's just the occasional Donna Karen's Cashmere mist lotion to prevent over doing it. Nice question.

Sorry for the girls that don't wear perfume but a woman has to wear perfume.  The male days are over!  I wear Anais made by Jordache.

I hope you're kidding. A lot of "real" women don't wear perfume, for work, medical or personal reasons. Wearing perfume is not a sign of anyone's womanliness, it's a social right of woman as men wear cologne or aftershave, but not a requirement. And have you ever been in the vicinity of a woman wearing a perfume too strong or makes you sick? Logic like that makes one wonder if it's just a sign of the class discrimination in the transcommunity ("Real women do...."). It's not right or fair.

I agree Susan. I once read a post where someone actually stated that if one cut her legs while shaving then she was not a "real girl."   ::)

I'd like to know where these ideas come from so I can start a fire bomb campaign.   ;D

If she cut her legs while shaving, it means she just pulled a new raser out of the package.

Ah, but you stated this as fact and didn't prefix it with something like "I think", "I feel that", or even "In my opinion".

Either way, I picked up some perfume this weekend.  I got white diamonds and rapture because I liked those scents.

When this thread was started it reminded me that I didn't wear anything. The opportunity presented itself shortly after and I go with a very nice "Simply Basics" brand body mist. *nods twice*

Ok, it's just your opinion. But recognize some professions require men and women not to wear cologne/aftershave or perfume, respectively, such as medical, or find wearing it isn't necessary for the job, such a EMT, firefighter, athletics, construction, research, laboratories, etc. It's a privilege for some occasions, but not a requirement of one's sex/gender. That's my opinion. And I'm equally serious. Take a look around you and ask how many genetic women wear perfume on a daily basis.

I always do, I'm old enough to know you were expressing your opinion, and it isn't reaistic, so why not try expressing it a little nicer next time.

Be Delicious by DKNY.  It smells really fresh and fun but not overpoweringly sweet or strong. Its great! I bought the set with the lotions so it cost a little more, around 70 US dollars.  Im not sure about the refilling but probably not.
