I don't really smoke much at all. But I smoked some today and I have to go get my T levels checked soon. Will the weed cause any type of false information/readings, does anyone know?

Hon, you're young and you don't want to put your health or your transition in danger. Better safe than sorry. Send the rest of that stuff to the Devoted Endocrine Valuation Laboratory Youth Network for, ah, disposal! Hugs, Devlyn

As far as I know, it won't unless your endo specifically orders for them to check for THC in the labs. :)

As far as I know weed shouldn't mess with your hormones. THC dosen't interact with that, mostly nerves and seritonin levals.  Granted I'm MTF but I did smoke a little before my last blood woork and nothing funny came up.. in MTF's case tobacco is worse than weed because of the effects.  Honeslty you may be able to call a clinic and ask them because they can't report you.. as least in the USA thay can't.

i really doubt it. not that ive tested this but it really shouldnt and unless you smoked a pound of weed by yourself it probably wouldnt change it that much. you could always tell your doc when you go to get your levels checked and he/she isnt allowed to tell anyone.

I doubt THC interacts with your hormones at all. If it did, endocrinologists would have to be warning people not to smoke/ingest marijuana. I and a lot of my trans friends smoke weed frequently and have never had any hormonal problems or had an endo bring it up.

I smoke a lot of weed. Never had any problems with progress or tests. Hope that helps.

I was told that it increases estrogen but that might just have been a trick by my parents to keep me from smoking. I have no idea if that's actually true or not.
