LOS ANGELES - Police searched today for a transgender man who stabbed another transgender man in a leg in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.

The stabbing occurred near the intersection of Stanford Avenue and 10th Street about 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, said Sgt. Andre Belotto, watch commander at the Los Angeles Police Department's Newton Station.

"The victim suffered non-life-threatening stab wounds to the leg," Belotto said.
