linkCutting the ribbon at his campaign headquarters on Central Avenue, the 19-year-old Maupin noted that Gordon's HQ is in the former home of the 307 Lounge, a bar that catered to transgendered people.
"I'm not saying that he's a transsexual, but I am saying that he's a trans-political," Maupin said. "He's an elephant running around in donkey clothes.
"And I'm here to tell you that I'm a new wind blowing through this city, and I'm the wind that's got his skirt up around his head. And we can tell from the waist down that he's a pachyderm."
