Crazed420

So I've caved and decided to join a transexual forum. After years of dealing with and muddling through this FTM noise my entire life I guess this is alike to a coming out party.. kind of.

I'm a 23 yr old pre-op FTM who's.. sort of in the closet sort of not.. depends who you ask really. I've known what I am and what I need to do to fix my constantly growing need to change since I was about 10 years old but I knew I was different before then. My family half knows, honestly most of them guessed or just think I'm a lesbian/girl who will never have children.

My life story isn't important let alone interesting so I'll end that overview there.

I've decided to cave in and join a forum since I'm going to finally just accept what I am in full and start some transitional things. I kept running into this site so decided this would be my first stop. Mostly I'll be around to compare ideas and thoughts about assorted FTM issues that come to mind or peek my interest.

Oh right a name might be helpful. Well.. I'm still a bit of a shut in so I'll just go by Crazed for now unless I feel up to using my name - which i have had picked out for a very long time since it's what my father was going to name me had I have been born male.

Anyway sorry if I bored you i just think it's polite to do an intro for your first post on a forum, even if I'm not that interesting.

Cheers.

Welcome to our little family. Over 7755  strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

Hi Crazed,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

Well I for one wasn't bored with your introduction. I  thought it was fabulous in understanding you have come to terms with yourself. This is THE most important first step in your journey. And I'm so pleased you have taken it.

No need to rush. You have all the time in the world. Just take it one step at a time. There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
