I'm 8 days out from my SRS. Day 6 without hormones now.

Three days after I stopped taking hormones I found myself dozing off a couple of times between afternoon and early evening. I used to work out about about an hour in the evening but now without hormones I feel like my batteries are drained, basically from one day to the next.

Don't like it...

I'm on HRT for almost eight years.
Phew...I think this is gonna get very interesting... :P

I'm 22 days out from surgery (Brassard), and I go off meds after tomorrow (3 weeks before surgery).  Been on HRT about a year and a half.  To be honest, I'm not real sure what to expect, aside from menopause-like symptoms, perhaps hot flashes, general bitchiness, etc.  Good topic!  I'm a bit worried about going off HRT, not at all worried about the surgery.

I suspended hormones a little more than a week ago. By now, I think my body got used to it somewhat. I still feel a bit lethargic during the day but it was worse a few days ago. My overall motivation to exercise, do some cardio in the evenings is quite low. This wasn't the case before I stopped the hormones. Besides from that, I don't feel any real symptoms of withdrawal...yet.

SRS is in five days. Time flies.

Yep, one of the not so nice things up front to surgery, whether SRS, FFS, BA, you name it.

You'll go through some unpleasantness of menopause, pretty much as expected.

Surgeons are all scared of clotting; somehow the stuff produced by one's ovaries (if you had any?) seems less prone to clotting... just as well, eh?
