I think I see--but just for the record, I didn't go to many trans meetings after I started attending the gay men's group. I've always had to live outside the gay community, so I was eager to be a part of it, finally. Gay is part of my identity, whereas trans is not.

Only had 2 meetings at the start of transition, then the meetings disbanded - as did all the other groups in a ~ 60 mile radius... and beyond - is open Feld...

In any case, there was talk - and then some. Did it help... ?
Yeah, someone held my hand when going shopping for femme stuff the first time.
I had decided to see my shrink en femme.

Those were the days my friends... and only 2 1/2 years back... now ever so hard to imagine actually.
