Penile inversion method and circumcision?

Just wondering. This is the most common method, but there is a good deal of people, specially in the U.S., that were circumcised prior to this, so I'm guessing that when the surgeons work with this method, they are usually prepared to dead with a lack of foreskin.


My doubt is that in the next months I will be called for an scheduled circumcision, possibly removing everything. Foreskin, frenulum... It's a really bad case of constricting phimosis, so I seriously  doubt the skin would be worthy of being used in the process (so small compared to the rest that it would not be penetrable). The real issue is that it is small to the point of not allowing standard masturbation or sex without making it incredibly painful and risking skin tearing and bleeding, and I wanted to keep the monster as exercised as possible if I were to take the final step.

Now I am split, between keeping it for "maybe SRS", and removing it for health and safety reasons (It can take years until I choose SRS, and it will mean a decreased quality of life).

Any opinions or experiences? And yes, I know that Suporn can do it without using the penis, not necessary to bring him here.

Colon section method?

Circing leaves you with less tissue. Combined with long-term hormone use and an orchi, the end results tend to be 'worse' (in the sense of less depth) than they would be on an intact trans woman.

Also, there are ways of curing phimosis that don't involve circing. Unless it's, like, outright killing you as we speak, you can probably find an alternative.

Perhaps you need to contact some of the SRS surgeons for their recommendation. Regarding colovaginoplasty, I'd only follow this route if the procedure uses keyhole surgery. Otherwise, it requires cutting through the muscle of the abdomen and leaves a bulge that cannot be exercised away.

It could still be three or four years until SRS, if I I decide to do it (Too early to be sure). This is more of an immediate problem, but in the places I have visited, they only offer classic circumcision. I heard about some sort of cream, but I don't know it it would work on adults. Here we are still in the stone age.

It's an immediate problem that requires a fix. It could take three or four years before SRS if I decide to do it in the end.



In another text, I found than HRT and the genital athropy can worsen a preexisting phimosis condition, so maybe it is a good idea to remove it. Anyways, I want to believe that most surgeons  will know how to counter this problem without resorting to use the colon. A skin graft, maybe?

provided that the size of the penis itself falls within the normal range, I don't think it should be a problem--circumcision or no.

I would try the cream first to see if it helps your condition. It is mostly prescribed to adults anyway. Use a circumcision as your last resort.

Just an idea, could the surgeon make a cut in the foreskin parallel to the penis creating a wider opening and leaving the skin to be used later.  You would have a little flap of skin on the end of your penis, which shouldn't be a problem.

The truth is, I've been on a waiting line for the circumcision for two years already. Might as well see the urologist again (which means a waiting line of between 3 and 6 months). The one that attended me was one of those old ones that look like they are one year away from retirement, no knowing what they are supposed to do.

"That's urgent, better to remove it as soon as possible". Two years later... Well, at least my case is not that bad (as long as I am not using a condom, which Is what I do 99% of time) compared to others, so maybe the cream could work. It might be worth the trip to see that old geezer again. Even better, a new urologist should have replaced him.

I would definitely get a second opinion. With the cream, you should be ok. Why does it take almost 2 yrs in your country to schedule a medical circumcision?  you think the would be more swifter.

Let's see. I talked with the family doctor on November 2010. I got the urology appointment for march. On march he told me that I would be called by July (2011). On september I visited the doctor again and told me to call in case they had forgotten or skipped me. On December I started to track them.

It took me two months to navigate through a bureaucratic labyrinth, several phone numbers and three medical centers until I could find the tracy (thanks to the cleaning lady). Oh, and one day of holidays, since they close at 13:30 and my work shift ends at 18:00.

When I finally found the guy that contacted people for surgery and told him that the urologist said "it is urgent", I got this answer:

Takes five minutes to search through a binder (they didn't even have a computer)... "Here you are, and you don't appear as urgent. These are all the people that go before you (a lot of paper). We don't have a surgeon for that. One comes from another hospital and takes two cases per month. Maybe in 6 months... It could be less if somebody drops his appointment".


Seriously, I don't understand social security. I live in a semi autonomous area with a different system. Some things work better than the rest of the country, but others utterly suck.


And not to mention the GID units... I hope mine is quick, but in other places it takes 6 months since you request your first appointment until the date you get. They only work on fridays, and only 4 hours.

Yup. When I said "next month" it was because I was going to do it in a private clinic. I already sent them an email asking about different methods, including the cream.


Odd thing, in other provinces it only takes like three months. Maybe those are the "urgent" ones.


PS: And to think I was going to do it for a girl. If it wasn't because she was hospitalised, botching our "sexvacations", I'd have done it a few months ago.

If you do go through with it... well it depends on how desperate you are for depth and what size you have to work with. I was circumcised (Jewish father), and I've got just over 6" of depth via penile inversion method, which is considered good (goal for my surgeon, Brassard, is about 5.5"). Brassard sometimes uses a thigh skin graft, but only if you have really limited material to work with as it leaves a bit of a nasty scar.

My overall results are considered "very good" - no major complications, everything looks right and works, blahblah. So foreskin isn't exactly critical for the op. But I did have a fair amount of material to work with, I guess.

I am in the correct length for doing it (If I really take that step, of course) without any graft, so unless cream does not work, it would better to leave it as it is now... Crap.

i dont see how HRT is going to shrink your foreskin

Finding things on internet, maybe they were referring to the general athrophy while on HRT.


Somebody told me: If you do have to get a full circumcision, consider that if it's really tight, that it's probably tight because there's not enough skin there, hence, perhaps you're not losing that much skin anyway.


"Full", that's the question. It will be better if I check with a private specialist. Removing only the tight part,  which would be unusable for SRS but leaving as much workable skin as possible should be the solution.

"Apparently". If I don't mind torn skin, broken capilars and the glans looking like the polka dots maillot from the Tour de France. It is not workable for masturbation, and prolonged sex ends with those effects. One of the several things why I keep sex to a minimum. It's can be pulled back carefully, but does not allow for safe usage.

See post above. I requested it after a "sex accident" and before considering transition. I even wanted to do a full one, "male porn star" style. Obviously, trying to convince myself I had no gender problems and that I had to look as manly as possible.
