Is it possible...?

I've recently been realizing that as I've been wanting to transition to a female as fast as possible, I've started to miss my androgynous days and maybe I'm not completely ready to be a complete women so soon.  I still want to start HRT as soon as possible though.  I just feel like I'm obsessed with gender roles and what not and I was wondering this question:

Is it possible for me to still be a woman but an androgynous one?

I just feel like people won't take my transition seriously because sometimes I like to look butch and then other days I like to look super girly.  I still want to be a woman and everything, but I don't feel like I should be super feminine just to be one.

Thanks!  ;)

I'd say so, but then, I'm an androgynous man and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get asked "why transition?" because of it. :P

Of course. You have 100% the right to present in the way that feels most natural to you. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

You are allowed to be who you are. Really. People who don't take you seriously are not your friends and so they don't get an opinion.

There are millions of kinds of woman. You just need to be the kind that you are - and that includes choosing to play around with your look.

I'm right there with you on the androgyne front, but I've found that so long as I take myself seriously, others do too.

Do what you want. It's up to you. If you get hammered back, reevaluate. I did that. It was painful, but I got where I was heading much faster.

Hi,

It really does not matter how you look or what you wear , its all about being who you are we'v had enough of being dictated to for years, be your own person . & thats the end of the matter .

Im intersexed & it does not matter what i wear though most of the time im dressed as a normal woman im accepted as one  & yes im accepted in to women only groups & most will know my background because i wonted them to.
I still do masculine work is 46 years enough so , who cares, it has to be about the person , not the clothes, i dress in peiord wear & garb i wear normal day wear ,  & im still known for who i am reguardless of my clothes ,

My manirisms say female my looks say male my dress says woman.  My acceptance is based on who i am.  you be who you are as you accept others they accept you.

Life can be great just you have to embrace it live it & love it,

Thanks for the input everyone! I appreciate it :)
It's funny because yesterday I was looking like a feminine Elvis and then today I had my hair down and I looked very girly.
I guess it all depends on how I'm feeling and I'm becoming okay with that :)
