Sollan

Hi all, I am Sollan. It has been a long time, so I thought I would re-introduce myself. I am FTM, haven't started yet.  I am 54 years old, a bit of a late bloomer, but the life I have had, until I met Gadgett, was led as a woman, that is what everyone I knew expected of me, and since it was in the 60s and 70s, I couldn't fight it. But Gadgett has changed that for me ;D

Right now my wife, Gadgett, who is MTF, is having to deal with major blockades in her trying to start her transition, so I am focusing my energies in supporting her. But also going to be looking for a little bit of info for myself.

LOL, this almost rings of how you would introduce yourself in an AA meeting :P :P :P

Hi Sollan!
I'm a former man, but I have been clean, sober and delivered from the fog of that toxic stuff long ago. Welcome to Susan's, you're never too old to become the real functioning person that you want to be.

Hello, thanx. I am hoping being here will help my wife and also help me to come to terms with having to wait.

Hi Sollan, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 8112 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother and an SO.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hi Sollan and welcome. I came out as transgender over seven years ago at age fifty-six. I'm sixty-four and very happy. It's never too late to live the life you were meant to.

Hi Sollan, welcome from Boston! We love couples on the site. Until they start arguing in front of us like we're not even there...but I digress! I seached Susan's and got about thirty hits for veterans related posts. It's a lot of reading, and a lot of information. Hugs, Devlyn

Hello,

It is never too late for anything.  The only time it is too late is when you are under the dirt and not on top of it.  You are a tremendous person for supporting someone you love the way that you do.  Your time will come and it will be wonderful.  Glad you finally found yourself and someone to be there for you too.
