BMI's are really just a super quick/simple tool for people to check if they're within a healthy weight range. There's far more to determining the shape your body is in than a simple height divided by weight squared equation. It's handy to know but, you should also know your body fat percentage, your waist to hip ratio, blood pressure and resting heart rate. These are all super simple things to work out though

there are a lot of calculators online for figuring the numbers out but for the most part the numbers vary across a binary gender standard... When I use them I'm never sure if I'm supposed to click the m or f box, hormonaly I'm a girl, with feminized fat distribution, so that might mess with the male numbers, but my lack of female hips/pelvis would mess wth the female numbers Lol... You can't win some days
