I can't exactly pinpoint when my RLE started but I would say I looked gay. Really really gay.

Same here, I looked pretty gay and I destroyed all pre-FFS photos.

I destroyed all of mine too except for a few I have in a secret rar-archive should I ever grow old enough to be curious about what I once looked like. My parents had to remove all pictures of me from their homes.

I'm 41 in this picture, had been on HRT for 3 months and had been having laser on my face & neck for 13 months. Those are C-cup breastforms I'm using, too.

I like tracking my progress. On my FB page, I even have a small album of pre-transition pictures.

I looked like a man who likes to wear girlie stuff...dangly earrings, bright nail polish, feminine flourishes while talking...

But, everyone was cool with it. Then when I actually went FT, I started with makeup, eyeshadow, etc and everybody knew (I told 'em in a letter LOL)...and they're still cool with it. Both my co-workers and customers.

Now I'm really starting to show breastage...and I had a customer (who is really supportive, btw) see me and shout out to the world, "I can see your BOOBIES!" ROFL...I mean, what can you say? I'm proud of my l'il girls... 😉

I guess I'm a bit different than most of the folks. For me, being seen as female while still legally and socially male was WAY less scary/upsetting than the idea of being legally and socially female and being seen as male. Maybe because I had to deal with being periodically seen as female for most of my life, so I was used to that.

I waited (while on HRT) until I was completely unpassable as male before officially switching everything over. By the time I started introducing myself as Sarah and going into women's-only spaces, I hadn't successfully passed as male to a stranger in over a month.

So, ya, basically I looked like a girl. The biggest difference between then and now is that I was presenting a lot more feminine. I had hair down to my shoulders (now it doesn't reach my jaw), and was wearing some pretty different clothing. And I hadn't had my facial surgery yet, so my face looked a bit different.

I'm sorry, I'm not comfortable posting pictures of myself on Susan's.

I looked just a tad more mannish than I do now and had shorter hair, but not by much. I was being ma'amed by the sight impaired at the time though.

I had to stop after a bit because I lost access to my meds, however now it's 100% fulltime thankfully. Only wear one guy shirt and that's when I feel super tomboyish 😛 It's my lucky death shirt :3 grim reaper on it, side story inc. I wore it the day I found 20 bucks on the ground, I know it's lucky cause I made a 90 on my final exam in psych when I didn't study.

It really is scary looking at pictures of me back them. What was I thinking 😛 But I was happy so that's all that mattered. I wouldn't walk out of the house to get the mail looking like that today! We all started somewhere and if you wait till you have a perfect look, you likely never will.

At 29 years old I was very lucky to pass right out the gate. In fact I never got sir'd once the second I decided to present female so I went full time before HRT. The amount of customers I had to deal with at work was overwhelming so I fully expected to get misgendered consistently but it didn't happen >.<
