Just about a week after I started HRT, my nipples began to get really firm (constantly) and sore. Now, 2 months in, it seems like they're trying to escape my chest in slow motion. It's as if my nipples stretching out form the rest of the breast - and it seems to be getting more rapid. I kind of figured before starting HRT that the breasts would grow more from the bottom-up rather than the top-down (relative to my chest).

Is this similar to anyone else's experience? Being very nipple-heavy before the breasts began to form? What about vice-versa?

I think that's the normal course of things. My E level is way too low for my breasts to actually grow, yet I still get sore and changed nipples. Look at a figure of Tanner II on the scale. Sounds pretty normal.

Yup, I've been on HRT a year now, and every growth spurt in my breasts has started by the nipples (or the part immediately behind them) growing more conical first, and then the breast filling out behind a bit later. It's happening right now, looks a bit weird, but I like it because I know it means there's more blossoming on the way :).

I think I may have a boob-vantage since prior to HRT I was asked a few times if I had begun HRT because of their size (although mostly nipple). They're definitely going for it right now, that's for sure. I was hoping for identical twins, but it's starting to look like my left will be (slightly) a runt.

After about 3 days my breast started to get tender. Now at just over 3 months and still on the started dose I am a B cup. People seem to develop at very different rates.

I'm actually hoping my face softens up a bit more before my boobs get too big. I'm not banking on congruity, though =/

I wish my face would have changed first too. It would be easier to try and pass if I had a female face and a flat chest. Not a male face and a developed chest.

dont worry about the little runt  ;D

She will grow to.  Even at full growth though one side will be ever so slightly larger but should by all means look like Identical twins xD

My right side is slowly catching up in size and volume to my left.

imho, you do not have a male face...at least, not a "strongly" male face. You'll do well I'm sure.  ;)
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

This is actually kind of a scary realization for me at the moment as well. It makes it so much harder to feel confident going outside as myself.

Wait till that annoying tingly feeling starts.... every bra you wear better be padded!! I told a friend it feels like a cricket leg twitching around inside my nipple and she couldn't stop laughing.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

I got to an a cup after a couple months then nothing for a month or so...it seems to happen in spurts. I didn't have the cone thing going on though, just looked like I was a preteen or something :P

I'll await in anticipation (?)  ;D

Ya know I read a post in this thread and you definitely look female O-o

Problem is the saying "I am my worst enemy". it takes time till you can appreciate the femininity of your own face.

yeah, it's a weird. I got super fast development, ended up with a B (not tubular though, it's in a cup shape that any woman's breasts would be in)  after around 3 months and then nothing for a month

now I'm again having "growing pains"  >:( ouch.
I can see me
I can see you
Are you me?
Or am I you?

LOL  Very well put.

Around that same time you are often reminded just how much even a little growth gets in teh way of things. Usually a very painfull reminder

Plus there's the whole "explaining away unexplainable winces" factor - until you feel brave enough to tell your friend or colleague "No no, it's okay, I'm not having a coronary, I just bumped my partially grown left breast. So anyway..." ::)

So, no pain in between spurts at least? I'm looking forward to that. I've been having frequent moments (hours at a time) of minor pain. I usually get a break when I wake up (like now) where the hardness is essentially gone and my nipples don't hurt. They're also super soft... but that'll go away when they wake up, too.

Yes, this gets embarrassing. Just a couple weeks ago I yipped at work because I bumped my boob into the corner of my desk, and my nipple was like a 50 on the rockwell scale. Watery eyes and everything.

:) .. Breast growth can be painfull, but a rewarding process. I am almost two years into my HRT, I have a Large C cup... hopefully growing toward a D cup... a padded bra is your friend in times of growth.. I knocked my young breasts against stuff and it was very sore..

For me, like Slightly Interested growth was quick in the begginning. A week in and my nipples were started to get sensitive.. and I had buds within two weeks.. it was a painfull period.. my growth has slowed.. I had A's within 3 months.
Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was
