Hey everyone, so I've been single for about 5 years now and living full time as a female for 3. Does anyone know of any good dating sites for transwomen or where to meet people in real life?
Thank, Hayley.

I use OKCupid, its free! But its not trans per se.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

If you can I would venture into the open,  tbh I would avoid anything trans like a plague.

In all honesty most people you pick up from there are gonna be nasty pervs.

I'm pretty sure I've been on every dating site on the internet lol. And yes, everyone I've met is a nasty perv.

Get involved with something! Volunteer. Obama and Romney need campaign workers. I wish I could go to Nevada or Colorado to work on Obama's campaign like in 2008. Lot of opportunity to meet like-minded people. Of course, amazingly, there are some people here who are Republicans. So you could also meet really cool Romney campaign workers. How cool would that be?  ::) ::) ::) ::) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-)

In the 2010 general election, based on exit polling data, 31% of those who self-identified as GLBTQ cast a Republican vote.  That was up from 19% in 2008.

Given the current state of the economy, I would be amazed it that figure did not increase.

I told someone recently that friends are a factor of proximity and shared interests. Finding people to date kind of works the same way. If you go do things you like to do with a group of people who also like the same thing the chance of meeting someone you like is fairly high. That can be volunteering or a hobby or whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, let's leave the politics out of this, please.

Yes.

I'd say that you don't need school or work to be doing something. That seems to be a bit boring. I'm in school, but I wouldn't date anyone there. Then again, I wouldn't date anyone, but that's irrelevant. My point is that you should find something that you enjoy and meet people doing those things. For me, that would be being a volunteer firefighter. Heck, you could even just walk around your neighborhood or along the beach and talk to random people. I do it all of the time. Talking to strangers is a lot more fun than just being a stick in the sand. You never know what someone is like until you meet them. Try to be more outgoing. Life's more fun that way.

Some of those Republicans are actually cute! And never mind how many of them I've seen on Grindr :).

If you were in the Seattle area, we could hang out. I am really good at meeting people. I seem to meet someone new almost every day.
  •

Devlyn

Woohoo! See kids, it's as easy as just asking! I knew having those dogs would pan out someday! Seriously, that is the common interest factor at work. It is a great way to meet people. Hugs, Devlyn

There are a lot of creepers... but you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince. There are a few good ones left out there. Not many though.
