Thank you!  I don't know why it is so small. It is the first picture I have ever posted here, so I was not even sure it would work.

Now, I am even more happy  ;D

your welcome =]

I have been working with our HR and my manager regarding me going full time.  It has been decided, that management and HR will inform the rest of my department on Dec 4th during an all hands meeting. I am so excited!! Less than one month and I will never have to be in boy mode again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a compliment that gave me some hope that I might not only pass, but look good in the future. ;D A friend said I looked like a certain actor (I don't want to say which cause I don't have the self-esteem to even admit that I think I could compare just yet :P)

She pointed and said "you look like him!" I laughed and said no, and she said "look at his eyes! And his mouth! How about his hairline? It's just like yours, a full head of hair. He's even your height! Wait til you get a beard, cut your hair, work out a bit, and you could look a lot like him."

Funny thing is I was always envious of this guy the first time I watched this show. Like crazy envious. So yeah, that made me really happy.

That is so awesome!! Congrats!! December 4th is a great day too- my b-day :P And from what I can see of your pic, you've got a cute body! I can't quite make out your face, but that seems pretty nice too :)

What made me happy today is that the voting is over and soon I won't have to suffer through all the political ads and phone calls. Wooh!

Yesterday was Melbourne Cup day. It is a horse race and about as interesting as syringing your ears (IMO). But lots of Aussies watch it and bet on it, and there is a big fashion  part where woman wear head dresses that look so bad that you try to think of reasons why people want to look like a duck has had a crap on leaf that they now wear on their head.

But too the point!

I had two very senior (female) reps over from Sydney and Melbourne who have known me a s a guy for ever. I relate well to them and I have bought heaps of stuff from their parent company. I told them ages ago that I was now me and if they had a problem about they never let on.

So, there we where watching the Melbourne cup having a coffee and a talk.  It got onto to the fashion show. Oh this is more interesting, we spent the next 20 mins dissecting the clothes, shoes, bags, hats, fascinators (yuk) that the woman were wearing. And of course the odd comment about how big or small a persons teeth, nose, boobs, legs, bum and any other part of the poor woman's body or soul we happened to see.

It was fun and totally casual, and we were all carried away and a little bit taken aback how we had become so friendly together so quickly.  We were always friendly but suddenly a whole new world had opened.

At the end it was weird, I got a 'so nice to meet you finally, kiss and cuddle' and a so happy for you etc.

I felt very accepted.

And of course my one bet a year on a horse race was a total loss ;D

Sounds like a fun day Cindy. I also really wonder what the point of 'fascinators' is?  Why would you want to look like someone has nailed a dead pigeon to the side of your head?

Had a phone call from my girlfriend to thank me for the "Thank you" card I sent her yesterday for a great day together Sunday.  I love making her feel good.  I am such a dyke!

The ones that really kill me are the TV presenters.  Most of them look so bad, their fashion sense is zero and they have been dressed by a clown who wants to make them look stupid.

One of them had a thing on her head that looked like a miniature pink flamingo's head that was having a chuck, every time she moved it wobbled and looked as if it was having another chuck.

I felt sorry for her because she was nice and cute and very professional.

I was really anxious about phoning someone up to do with volunteering at a wholefood shop (because I wasn't sure how to approach the gender thing) - but the first thing he asked me was about my name, as he'd known a female Padma before, so it was very easy to tell him about me, and it was all cool :).

I bet I know one of the things you'll be thankful for this Thanksgiving! That is great news.

Transformative day yesterday. My wife had a day filled with epiphanies and went from turmoil to peace about half a dozen things that have been eating at her for a long time. She enforced new firmer boundaries with hurtful people in her family and felt good about it under an onslaught that would have left her in a week-long cry before; she reinforced strong ties to her dear friends that she had distanced herself from and now realizes are just like her - struggling, flawed, but so glad to have a friend like her; realized the underlying level of trauma she has been trying to mask for years and where it comes from, and what the next steps may be for her healing; breathed a sigh of relief about the elections and the prospect for progressive activism in our country due to the growing surge of women and of ethnic racial gender and sexuality minorities in taking back their power, and decided that she will probably become a US citizen so that she can vote and try to improve things here.

It was so nice to celebrate with her the insights and victories that were coming after several nights of nightmares.

Oh, and when I turned in my ballot in person dressed to the nines, next to city hall, I looked longingly towards the chambers. I actually wrote myself in as a write in candidate for an open city council seat that had no filers, and wished that I had campaigned. I understand wanting to write, paint, and be a mom, but considering a path in politics as well? Hmmm. I am learning a lot about myself. :)

I told my crush I liked them over the phone a little while ago. Today was the first day I got to see them face to face after that little revelation and she was amazing.
I was feeling a little awkward but then she just spoke to me and she kept doing so all day. We laughed and joked like we did before and she wasn't afraid to sit next to me or look at me.
She made me feel really comfortable.

She's adorable.  :)

This made me smile. ;D I've said this before, but I am so glad it turned out in the sense that it didn't damage your friendship.

I had a great sleep last night, that made me happy.
