My girlfriend bought me a necklace last night when we were out. It was so sweet of her!

I was having a conversation with my dad earlier, who had popped round for a cup of tea and while we were talking I was texting a couple of people, and found that I was having no difficulty carrying on three different conversations at the same time.
I'd always been amazed and envious that the girls I know seem able to handle multiple conversations at the same time, and all of a sudden, here I was doing just that!

I worked a 12 hour shift in the ER today, and I can count on one hand the number of times I heard anyone using female pronouns. And that was with my legal name showing on my name tag.  ;D
I did my waiting! Twelve years of it! In [my head!] Azkaban!

Actually got my first Psych assignment finished and handed in on time.  :P

I went out shopping with my aunt today, and she used all the right pronouns and everything. When we went to pay her phone bill the lady working even referred to me as her son  :P And the one time she made a pronoun mistake it was so little nobody else caught it, she backpettled right away, then apologized about 5 times in the parking lot. It's nice to see people putting in a real effort  ;D

My boss correctly gendered me as fem today on several different occasions, completely inadvertently. I'm not out at this job, nor will I be before I quit, but it's nice to know that even when I'm not trying to pass that somewhere in the back of people's minds they know.

W00t! I just got an e-mail "Mass Practice class is cancelled tomorrow"! Most boring class I've ever taken, now I have time to work on my paper instead of trying not to fall asleep.

Walked into some innuendo in the kitchen at work this morning. A couple of colleagues were standing around the kettle having a chat about their plans for the day ahead... and just as I walked through the door our Receptionist was saying to our male boss: "Oh yes, no problem! I can do you, Joe and Andy all at the same time!".  :o

They were discussing a telephone conference call...

I'm really enjoying looking like a younger guy as I walk about in society. It might seem odd for an almost 24 year old to say that, but...when I was a teenage girl, my appearance and mannerisms often gave off the impression that I was about 5-10 years older than I really was (after age 15 or so). I was always treated as an adult, which was really nice, but...when you're young, even though you want respect that comes with age, you're still young and want to be treated as such. I never got that in most parts of my life.

So cool, time to smell the roses and enjoy your life Caleb!

I will. ;D And to add to my happiness, I noticed a lot more dark facial hairs have appeared on my neck. Soon I'm going to be proper scruffy.

I went to the divorced/separated group I've been going to. There were some people I hadn't seen before and some people I had, but nobody gendered me anything but female. I didn't even see any of the strange looks I sometimes get.

And my right breast hurts like the dickens. But it's the good kind of hurt...
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I couldn't take the dishevel anymore, so I left school early, went to Target and bought some cheap stackable shelf things and went home, made them, and organized. Whew, I feel like I can breathe now!

I think I am going to buy another set to replace these cheap plastic organizers I have.

I have a snuggle buddy tonight. ;D One that's actually human as opposed to canine. Not that I don't love my dogs, but. :P There's something about the human touch lol.

I found £5.31 in loose change in the car park at work. Nobody has claimed it, so today I'm going to have a free lunch! :)

This is even more brilliant because I'm flat broke. I'd even brought some out-of-date eggs into work today to make myself a microwave omelette because I can't afford to buy anything.

This actually happened last night, but it still makes me happy today. So, I was getting my son ready for bed (he is 6). He decided to pick up his dirty sock with his toes and use them to throw them into the hamper. He asked if I could do that, you know little boys always issuing a challenge. So, I told him I could do a lot more with my toes than he could. I opened up the bathroom cabinet with my toes, and grabbed something out of it with my toes. As a return to my challenge, he walks into the bathroom, reaches onto the counter with his foot, and grabs his dental floss (it's one of those little plastic things that holds the floss for you). He then starts to floss his teeth using his feet! OK, he totally one that challenge!

Nice kid, seems like you and your son have a great bond, good for you both!

I'm getting to a much better place mentally and emotionally. Feeling even more accepted within the town community lately.
