Hi Ladies. I am 28 and very early on in transition. I am 6 months into therapy and not on HRT yet but have had two laser treatments and have my third this week. I am fairly tall at 6 foot and am stuck with big male feet which have both been something that has always scared me about transition. Please let me know your thoughts as to if HRT may be enough for me to really pass or if I might need some FFS as well. As of now I feel I am passing decently well in most casual environments but I think I am still getting clocked due to my height. These are my most recent pictures and are from an amazing trip I took with two of my best friends to New Orleans this weekend. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

You have nothing to worry about! I think you are adorable!  Height can sometimes be tricky but to be honest, when you posted those pictures I had no idea who I was suppose to be looking for.  I seriously thought I was looking at a pretty young cis lady!

Hi Everybody

I have recently started my transition and have currently been taking hormones for a month and a half.

Haven't really noticed any changes other than the painful breast lumps, but I am hopeful!

I'm a bit shy so just thought I'd post one photo to get me started and then maybe post more in the coming months.

I haven't grown my hair yet but it grows pretty fast anyway. I would love to think I could pass fully after hormone therapy and ffs :/

Pretty sure you could pass somewhat with a wig, clothes and make-up.

Okay... Can't really believe I'm doing this...

Pictures are going to vanish in 24-48 hours. :P

Natural hair, no make-up (had electro yesterday, and my skin is unforgiving enough as it is, hence also no close-up of the face for now). Clothing is officially all women's (ideally I'd wear something like that to the office); and yes I'm wearing a black t-shirt underneath, dressing and pictures were a spur of the moment thing, so sue me. ;)

Edit: 3 1/2 months of HRT so far

Oooo.  White on white.  I like the photos.

Your body language tells me you have the attitude!

The face still leans to the male side of androgynous, but 3 1/2 months on HRT is really just starting.

I think you will progress well.

First post! I don't even have moisturizer on in this picture so it might not give you the best idea but it's my most recent pic. I haven't started my transition yet but I hope to soon. Please feel free to be honest.

So what do you think of these pics?

Let's see how I rate. Charlie maintains that I could pass now. I'm curious but naturally I maintain skepticism.
No E. Some eye makeup on the close-up.

Impermanently human.

Don't worry about it. You definitely will, girl.

I know I do not pass yet, but I am happy this thread is here so as I get closer I can get some honest feedback.  I am amazed how many beautiful ladies are worried about whether they pass ... so many pics I saw were just incredible.  I hope someday to be simple halsf as pretty.

Here are some better pics of me:

I don't own a wig, dress or makeup yet so these are the best I can do right now.

I think you'll look very cute presenting as a female. You've got quite a bit of femininity to your facial features if you ask me. Removing eyebrow hairs from underneath and adding a slight bit more arch is going to help a ton to feminize your face. With longer hair, a little eyeliner, and beard shadow correction, I think you will be on your way to passing. HRT would probably be necessary too, because it would shrink the muscles in your neck. Posture and facial expression is something, too, that you can work on right away and will go very far :) Just start taking notes from cis women.

The bottom half of your face is obscured.  Are you hiding a soul patch?  LOL

Truth though - in the green shawl picture, your eyes and bangs give me a strong female vibe.

So you are at ground zero.  I think you will agree you have some shadows from facial hair, and heavy brows that need to be thinned (from the bottom) and arched.

You have a bit of a brow ridge; ffs may be in your future.  But your nose is neutral, and your chin not as blocks as many natal males.  Some things to work with, I'd say.

Nope - I was actually clean shaven for both those pictures. It's just a small mirror and I'm terribad at selfies. Probably would redo, but then again, I'd have to shave to do it. Lazy when dysphoria is low.

Thank you. My dad is from Bangladesh so body hair is definitely a problem for me. I know I need to get my eyebrows waxed and shaped and eventually I plan on doing laser hair removal on my face but I know it's expensive. i have my mother's cheeks and chin but my dad's forehead. I do have a thick neck but I'm hoping HRT will take care of that. My bone structure I think is pretty small or at least not man size. I was really skinny as a child but have gained weight over the years from bad eating habits. I'm trying to eat less and exercise more to fix that. What about my lips? I think they're my most feminine feature.

Totally agree! Looking at the picture, that was one of the first things that I noticed, was "those lips are going to look awesome on a female face!" One of the most masculinizing features of a face, which HRT does not generally fix, is flat lips with a big distance between the nose and the upper lip. And, well, you're definitely not going to have to worry about that!

From what I can see, your only really masculine feature is the brow ridge. But the rest of your face is excellent. Great cheeks, great nose, just in general a lot of femininity in there. Good starting point for sure!
