To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

You don't pass yet, and by looking at your face I'm assuming you aren't on HRT, however your face is just perfect for it. You shouldn't have any troubles. My only advice at this point is to make your expressions look more feminine.

october 9th ill have been on hrt for 3 months.

Teela, I think the biggest single thing that would help you would be a haircut that covers your temples.  The shape of your hairline is quite masculine (I have the same problem)  but your hair is long enough to easily cover it with a different style.
Something like this

or this

Basically, Bangs are your friend!

]I love that first style. might have to try it when the sides of my hair get alil longer. but yeah I hate my hairline, I got 3 cowlicks and they make styling my hair a nightmare.  :-\

this is how I wear it most the time to hide my forehead and hairline.  not to mention it helps maintain that in the middle look since im not trying to present as female yet.  im hoping I be able to do that around 8 months.

Yeah, having to be able to present both ways makes it super hard!  I'm lucky in that, for the most part, It really doesn't matter how I look.
You have a similar face shape to the girl in the first pic so that style should really suit you  :D

I tend to gravitate toward that clothing clitche that goes with that hair style also, so I think it would fall together nicely. thanks for showing it to me, I saved it to show to my hair stylist a few months from now.

@alice

Yes you do look more passable, I think the eye makeup could be better though. A smoky eye is a sexy look but idk if the dark tones help you when they blend with your brows to make them look lower. Maybe it is superstitious but I like light, warm tones when it comes to eye shadow because being trans you have to worry about some little things that wouldn't really hurt a cis girl.

I don't know if I could pass someday.... If I already pass, or what the case may be. (avatar is about my best of my newer pics) Just know regardless it's not going to deter me from going full time next month; likely on my 33rd birthday. You girls are all looking great by the way :) oh and I absolutely love that first haircut Twyla; thanks forr sharing those ideas, know they weren't meant for me, but that truly is a rocking haircut that girl has.

In terms of looking like my avatar.... Yes and no. I mean it's me, but that was prior to going out with friends on a Friday night and the makeup was a friend's handy work. I'm nowhere near that good with it (one of the things I plan on working on over this next month)

Here's a couple pics without the keen makeup job... Including the obligatory "mirror shot" ha.

The second one the lighting isn't the best, but it's right after I recently dyed my hair red.

I don't think I pass completely, especially once you talk to me, or look at me closely(still doing some hair removal on my face), but I think I may pass at a glance...what do you think?

Ps I'm 23. 10 months HRT

i think you look amazing.

I just turned 32, and have been on hrt for 18 months. this is my face, no make up except eye liner. Do I need FFS? Sorry I know I just posted recently but, my voice got me clocked the other night (trying to yell over a punk band in a bar :(  ) My confidence is a little shaken.. do you think it was just my voice or am I visibly trans?

I'd say you look more like a woman than most women... So it may have to do with voice issues...

I don't think you need FFS. You are probably tired of hearing it but I would grow out the hairstyle. I'm not trying to nag ya because I think you shouldn't have it how you want it but.. I do think if you have any passing issues that would be the first cause.

where I'm from, my hairstyle is quite common for women my age (particularly gay women), I usually wear it out though, I tied it back for the pictures .

I am sure it's pretty/not an issue when you have it down, that was just all that jumped out at me in your pictures :)
