I'm more like truetranssoulrebel, so I'm not exactly MtF (perhaps MtFtA or MtA). I would prefer to identify as female, but not a girly female, and like women as well.
So, repeating the question, could I pass one day?

Loving the hair!  I think your identity is a very good description of where I'm headed.  I almost feel like I need to swing all the way over to female first so that I can shift back a bit towards the centre using it as a reference point.  As to your passing, in this town you're already there!

Thank you! :))) And it has been a long way (2-year HRT). I just am wondering about when, where, with whom to identify as female. I'm long preparing people for that, myself included. I'm struggling to work remotely and to depend on many sources of income instead of just one (so I can lose some if needed).

Hope someday I post a pic in the "other side" :D

I too do not see myself being a girly girl. More tom boyish I guess(ironic?). The look that the darker red head in the photo that Saffron linked is more my style, the gothy one. Bout the girliest I can see myself being.

Hi you! And wow how great you look ^^
In this photo, I wouldn't mistake you as a boy. I think your face in the photo falls into the tomboyish/androgyne female area. So yea, for me you are already there, and it's just about how far you wanna go now. :)

..And your hair is sooo great. I'd love to look good in dark hair, too.
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough.

Hi! :) Thanks ^_^ There are the details also. I'm wearing foundation ::) so some has to be worked – more laser sessions, maybe electrolysis – and then I'm done. People like my hair, but I have to work on it for 30 minutes before going out!

I'll post another photo then and seek for more clothing. Now it's time to buy tomboyish clothes. :) (love shopping! though I don't stop at every place to see)

And about you? Loved your clothing. Let's exchange some! ahahhahah!

Yay for tomboyish clothes :) And for another photo ;)

It's a shame really that clothes can't be shared virtually, you'd just have to visit Northern Europe to get them. *grin*

Hrm, maybe next year ;) I went to Germany/Italy earlier this year and loved!

It's raining, but maybe I can buy something later on. I just decided it :) Don't know where to shop, though. Will ask some local friends!

Okay, people, so I'm just drifting from the other "profile" and making a second shot. Just remembering, I'm MtFtA or MtA (I prefer to identify as female, but I still didn't) and jokingly I thought about "if I posted a photo of myself wearing a suit, would still I me female-ish?". Thanks, Phoeniks, for making me reach that! :)))\\

There are women who wear suits  :)  It was actually a fashion statement for women to wear men's suits for awhile, but of course most wear suits designed for women now

Anyway, I still think you look rather feminine  :)

Hello again! So I posted a pic earlier just after my first laser session (pg 12). I know my beard was looking crazy in that pic, but now I am getting close shaves again and a majority of my neck hair has fallen out completely :D Due for another laser session in a week.

I've also arched my eyebrows just a tad as suggested, and I've been experimenting with a slight amount of foundation + mascara in my day to day androgynous routine. Today I was feeling especially good so I decided to take a pic to share.

I know my adam's apple is rather large (albiet semi-hidden in this pic) and I'm pretty self conscious about it, so I'm hoping to have that taken care of sometime in Jan/Feb. Also I am at exactly 3 weeks of HRT today!

I'm not really trying to pass yet, but in a  few weeks my friends are throwing another crossdressing friendly event that I'm really excited about... I will have another pic to share then :) What do you think now though? Do you think my facial structure will be feminine enough to pass given time with hormones? Very curious (and quite nervous) to know what you think.

Ehh, thank you! I'm just using an old suit (now it's giant in my body) that I have to tailor – will be using it for a while, as some activities require it. I am just aiming for (points to perfectly androgyne line) here (marks less than an inch after from female towards to androgyne line) :)

Your skin will still change. It'll become lighter and make more contrast with your lips. That's a very important point to make: GGs have a much greater contrast between lips/skin than men. As with me, some aspects were obvious when looking at a picture years before (took low-dose HRT for a long time before raising the dose), but your face will also soften more and become thinner.

At your start, you'll pass, no doubts! And your hair is very nice :)

thankyouthankyouthankyou soulfairer!!! It's a little scary for me right now... I feel myself becoming more self conscious about passing in the future with every successive week and your comment just made my day bigtime. Thank you :D You've made this Jenny a very happy Jenny.

I can already notice some of the pores on my face starting to shrink ever so slightly on my nose and around my lips... Seeing subtle differences already and comments like yours give me hope for the future.

You're features are fabulous, by the way. Also looking great in that suit. Love you're hair, too! :)

Wow!  I like the look.

Distinctly androgynous, with definite female overtones.

Good form!!

Ahhh, *flattered*! I think passing will be more and more "possible" when looking at the mirror. But there's the voice "we're not there yet", but changed happen and week after week they show themselves.

Ah, the pores, they will become thin, tiny! So that your skin also receives foundation better ;D

Thank you! I'm rebooting my life nowadays. I sometimes like my hair, but it takes nearly half an hour to make. And it's not marvelous all the time. :(

The suit obviously is not an everyday costume, but it's a good measure as I've owned it for years. I always use the same clothing to compare how I am doing, because they can change your figure a lot.

My measure was: I am a role male model today. How will it be one year after today? And today it has changed to this. And alas, I didn't like *that* much my appearance that I have a hard time to find a picture using that suit years ago. But I've taken more photos this year than in my entire life. Does it tell something? ;D

Jamie, thanks! ;D I finally got the guts to post here: more than a year and a half! In the beginning some may have thought I was a fake...

I'm baffled by those comments, thanks! As I get closer to the goal... :)

Those nasolabial folds look uber masculine, kinda take away from a feminine look which is based on smoothness of facial contours. I'd say the top half of your face is feminizable with HRT but not the parts under your eyes. I'm kinda in the same situation and HRT hasn't helped much.

My general md / laser technician also offers non surgical injectables (juvaderm, restylane, etc) that I think I will ask him about in the near future. I had definitely wondered about those folds. Thanks for the advice!

A little photoshop cloning tells me that you could be on to something... I will check it out at my next appt with him on Thursday.

I wonder if that kind of smoothness is achievable with injectables alone, that sure would be great.

Also, don't forget that HRT will also cause you to loose mass in your lower jaw area which will make your cheekbones more prominent and decrease the appearance of the nasolabial folds. You are young and beautiful so HRT will give you some really amazing results!  :-)
