Thank you Arwan and Shantel

Shantel - We were married as a gay couple for 5 years, and unfortunately the mix of his drinking/anger plus my transition caused me to move back to my hometown and break up with him. fast forward 6 months and im trying to give him a chance to show me his professed "changes", but to be honest, im not seeing alot of them yet...

BTW, Thank you both for the hugs, I really need them today...im trying to bury myself in my two jobs and not think about anything right now.

Hang in there sweetie!

One of my PS3 duel triggers is messed up so it keeps falling off during gameplay.  This has made me unhappy.

I'm clearly not really enjoying my free time and I'm considering saving up and getting one of those home video game systems. I saw a video of one of the shooting games and I couldn't handle the type with realistic violence but OMG the graphics have improved so much in the years I didn't play (not counting my kid's DS which lol I'm still pretty impressed with).

What made me unhappy today is my kid got suspended from school. They wanted me to come get her and I told them it would be about an hour and they said they'd rather bring her home in a van than wait for me to take 3 buses to get to them. Had a lot of round and round on the phone trying to arrange an evaluation for her so we can fulfill all the legal requirements for the meetings and stuff. Urg.

The urge to use obscenities with some of the inconsiderate people at my apt.s and throw their laundry in the rubbish

Don't worry, I held my tongue... But as soon as I can buy ink and paper for my printer I'm going to post a message in the laundry room about the fact that there are several other people who live here and need to use the laundry and if they could please monitor their laundry in a timely mannor

I'm really anxious and self-conscious about teaching tomorrow. :(

You'll do fine, just remember that you're the teacher and they are there to hopefully absorb a few things that you have to offer them. When I used to get intimidated by a leadership position I had to remember that they put their pants on one leg at a time just like I did.

I questioned a friend's facebook gender because I mistook her for another friend on there with almost the same name, who's male. In my defence, it was on a tiny screen, and their new profile pix look very similar at that size. But I'm still mortified and hope she can see the funny side (but this makes me cringe over and over).

It's always a pleasure to realize that I'm not the only one with a foot shaped mouth! lol  ;D

I made a new friend. He keeps talking about sex (awkward) and he called me cute. I have no wish to be cute. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Also, I heard back from the person Iw as directed to for information on which bathroom I can use. They offered, "I am pretty sure I have a list of all washrooms on campus indicating male female and common I can certainly send that to on Monday!" Great, but that doesn't tell me which ones I can use.

Ugh, went out to roleplaying tonight because I thought it would help my cabin fever. While it was good to get back into it, I was definitely not yet well enough to do it. Between the cold air and talking, my throat and lungs are very unhappy with me.

My new community college classes start this week, and I am deeply unhappy about it.  I hate classes.  I hate people.  I hate classes.  I absolutely hate classes.  Yeah, I did get myself into this, and I'm going to make the best of it.  I do wish no one would mention it to me again, possibly ever.

In my family and acquaintances, that is.  Feel free to talk me off the ledge. :icon_zombie:

Trying to sort out health insurance.  Seems a total lottery as to whether or not ANYTHING will be covered by any policy I might be able to afford.
Reading about some of the ridiculous ways people's trans status has been used to deny coverage has made me so depressed :(

I think Cigna Insurance Company has some coverages for TG folks, I'm not sure to what extent. Having been a claims adjuster I can assure you that they will no doubt have a number of exclusions.
