I had to go grocery shopping with my SO earlier today and going always is emotionally exhausting.  I was in a good mood when I got home and then it just went downhill fast.  Right now I'm so emotionally exhausted I just want to curl up.  I was going to start up my blog but I can't even think straight.  I should probably put this in my blog, but I felt like putting it here as I figured it was more fitting...

Feeling like the friends I have had forever are drifting further and further apart as I move further towards transition.

My inner thighs are aching pretty badly. Spent the day tearing out carpet and little staples at my Brother-in-laws. He kept the trans comments to himself today. I'm off home tomorrow.

I've had this all my life. It comes with being an Army Brat. But, I'm happy to tell you that it is possible to keep those friends through transition. The ones who matter and are true friends will stay with you through it all. Just remember, they will be transitioning with you. They will slip up, make mistakes, but be patient. *hugs*

Getting an absence strike in my class all because I turned in a stupid assignment 45 minutes late.  I can only get one more or they will drop me.

I've been in a bad mood for the past two days.  But, I just woke up from having fallen asleep off and on for the past hourish, so hopefully that helps.  But, the weather has been really crazy today so that doesn't help.  Yay for living in Iowa. >>

Keaira asked if I knew Kinder surprise eggs, which we have tons of. I said yes and she made a sad face, because she can't get them and says that she grew up on them. so, I was going to grab some and bring them tomorrow as a surprise, and it turns out, they're illegal to bring over the border! You get a $300 fine because of the "choking hazard." That's ridiculous. If you have kids that are too little for a Kinder Surprise egg, don't buy them the bloody egg. Be a good parent!

Sadly we are suddenly stuck with a lot of ridiculous nanny state laws where big brother slaps our little hands if we're naughty and don't obey. But then again, you wouldn't want Keaira to have a choking incident.  :icon_peace:

So today I'm wearing a T-Shirt bearing the words "I see stupid people".

Not a problem (heck, I see them every single day, LOL) - but I went to a local supermarket at lunchtime and I saw that one of my favourite cashiers was looking quiet, so I made a beeline for her till and we struck up our usual friendly conversation whilst she scanned my items.

It wasn't until I saw her intently reading the words on my T-Shirt that it occurred to me that perhaps today wasn't the right day to line up at the till of my favourite cashier who happens to have Down's Syndrome.  :embarrassed:

I feel like I'll never get started on T or saving for top surgery because every time I think I'm going to be in a good place financially something happens. This time my gf was in a wreck. She's fine, thank God, but the car is done for and insurance won't pay for it. Plus the ticket total is over 500 dollars. So I have no way to get to a therapist and no money for anything. Ugh.

Just think of it an an inexpensive source of protein.   The spider ... not the shower curtain.

I got called "sir" by some stupid old broad at the store.

This hasn't happened in several months and I have no idea what could have caused it.

It's depressing as hell because it makes me think that this whole thing is just a waste of time and an entirely futile effort.

If only my body hadn't been ravaged by testosterone...... :'(

Damn it.. :(

I thought the exact same thing. That stupid old broad needs to get her eyes tested.
