Lately I've been a bit down cause it seems like my breasts have not grown in ages, and it seems like they may never. Sometimes I think they have but it's soo hard to tell I have no clue. I have a theory, however, and I wonder if anyone else has thought this, or has evidence to support it. Right now on full hrt, my body is in a constant battle keeping the T level down. In Feb, once I am post op, I'll no longer be producing T at the amount my body is now. So that will possibly allow the estrogen to work more effectively in other areas, such as breast development. On a side note, does puffy areola mean there is new growth?

One person's "Full" is another's half empty. "Optimal E Level" varies a lot by practictioner. Besides the classic YMMV, depending on your T and E levels it is difficult at best to draw any similarities or conclusions, along with how long you've been on HRT. Full development usually occurs 2-3 years in. Puffiness usually occurs in the early months/weeks on HRT. Straight E isn't as effective as E plus an AA. Also how do you stack up compared to your mom and sisters? ( Keep in mind women tend to increase a cup size per child)

Post SRS you won't need an AA and your E dosage will likely be dropped after a few months of settling in.

I've been on hrt for almost 3 years. Estrace and spiro. My mom was never huge, but def bigger than I am now. My sister is only my half sister. We had different moms, so she doesn't count. But she is pretty big.

Sorry girls. The MTF breast development is rarely bigger than a small B, and only develops to Turner stage 4. (sorry for the medical Jargon) Unless you are genetically on the transgender spectrum, the MtF breast consists primarily of connective tissue and fat, (no duct or lobule development as in the normal female breast). The difference is easily seen on mammograms. Of course the chance of breast cancer increases to female levels with a family hx. Growth is considered finished after 3 years of hrt.

Well, I believe I do fall into the genetic transgender spectrum. I guess time will tell in any case :)
