Members who become guests

I notice that some members become 'guests' and their profile names are no longer clickable. Does this mean that they are no longer able to post due to being banned or by asking for their account to be deleted? Just curious!

Quick answer - both!

I have had previous accounts here which I deleted and for the same reason - there are posters on here who are so relentlessly negative that they get in my head and just wear me down. and I find myself being drawn into arguments and disputes and then spending way, way too much time here.

This place can be very bad for me, but I keep coming back because there is not really anywhere else to go and we all need some support.

When someone opts to delete their account, they can choose to leave their posts behind or have them all deleted. If they leave them behind, the Guest thing is what you see.
