A quiet, peaceful evening...

Indeed. Such an evening is a pretty rare occurrence for me, I simply must share.

Worked today, got a little OT, but not so much that I'm exhausted...in fact I felt quite satisfied when I got home. My son was outside, smoking a cig, had a smile and pleasant demeanor. He usually does, he's a sweet kid, even if he is 16 LOL   ;)

Made dinner (Rice a Roni mushroom chicken, no meat and beets). Came out perfect.

My ex texted me, and invited both of us for Thanksgiving dinner, at her sister's (I like her sister, even thru the "D" process) She says to come however I feel comfortable.

I am listening to an Enya cd, "The Memory of Trees", the apartment is filled with happy and serenity, two emotions I rarely encounter.

Anyway...just wanted to share.

...Or an airplane engine....I've thought sometimes that my long-lost twin is Donnie Darko...As long as I don't see a giant rabbit, Ithink I'm ok... ;D

There are times when boring and ordinary are really appreciated.

Nice when the world reflects back to us the things we feel inside. Happiness and serenity with peace to all and malice towards none, with wounds healed or healing. First of many great days to come I suspect.
History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again.

Thanks Maddie, Brooke, and justmeinoz...here it is Wednesday and I still have strong echoes of the serenity. (As I type this though, I can't remember which day I wrote the original post on...

*sneaks a peek*

...OMG it was yesterday?! Really? Tuesday? I find that hard to believe....but there it is.)

Well, I got a peek at Things To Come. I feel almost giddy inside. Can't wait to have you over to visit, Maddie!

:)

(And btw Brooke...turns out I can wear a size 12 in women's jeans...and due to the magic of such garments, I think I've found my buttly-shape! (Or is that "my shapely butt"?? LOL)....so guess what I'm-a-gonna-be-doing this here weekend...? )

;)

One of those rare moments when the Cosmos is in prefect harmony.  Great news for you, Beth.

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me
