Hi from the other side of the pond.  This is a great site and I am sure you will find it a big help and support.  I know I have, and also made some great friends.  Post away!

Hi Sydney, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 9051 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another member.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hi Sydney,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Transition is a very diverse landscape, and is different things for different people. Where do you feel it's all a big fail?

You may be pleasantly surprised when you talk about it, just how common and normal your issue may be. i'll even go so far to say, it's realistically repairable.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine.

Sydneyblue, glad to meet you.  I don't want you to get down on yourself.  Everybody's path is unique.  I have been on my own journey for over 50 years.

You haven't said whether you have seen a therapist, or were under any sort of medically supervised HRT, but if so, you should have been advised that these things can take time.

Anyway, hope to see you on the boards, and we can talk some more.

Welcome. As Catherine mentioned, I believe it is important to manifest why you feel that transitioning was a fail. What negativity has occurred as a result of your decision? Do you feel like you are getting anything good out of it? What were your long term goals before starting? Have you put yourself out into the world for new experiences as a new you? I feel these are important questions to ask yourself.
