T levels after hysto

A few weeks from now I'm having a hysto and oophorectomy. This will be removing a androgen producing tumor (due to pain and it's a cancer risk) so I'll also be starting synthetic testosterone a few days after the procedure.

My endo has me starting at a dose of (edited) every two weeks. After three months I'll be going in for a blood check. My doctor has stated that she wanted me to get either the patches or the gel because they are the best at keeping a level dose in the blood stream. Injections cause continuous fluctuations of hormones in the blood but my finances (and saving for top surgery) are reasons why I am going with the injections.

Ok, this leads me to my questions. Any guys who have had all of the kibbles n' bits removed, did you need a large reduction in the amount of T you take?

I don't know the answer but I do know you can't post dosages on this site because it helps people who might want to self medicate. I would edit your post before a mod sees if I were you.

I think that is a question that would differ from person to person. I don't think T levels are drastically changed, it just doesn't have to fight for control as much.

I second the poster above about the dosage.

Also, you can ask your endo to moniter you more closely once the hysto is all said and done.
