Iv'e always heard and saw videos on the dangers of silicone injections in the hips and face but I'm still curious. In a talk with my girlfriends a lot of pageant transsexuals in our state have been pumped with silicone in the hips by the same "person".  None of them have had problems as of yet, and are beautiful and quite well known. Has anyone here had silicone pumped into their hips?

*I know the dangers, risks, & facts of not being FDA approved, and that this person performs the "procedure" in a local hotel & is not a licensed doctor. I'm not asking if its safe or legal because I'm well aware. I just want to know if anyone has gotten silicone injected into themselves or knows anyone who has, and what problems if any have occurred over time etc.

**So far I've heard of dimpling, black and blue coloration due to poor circulation, and the silicone migrating or shifting over time, feel free to share your experiences if any.

My worry would be with it both getting in your blood stream, as well as calcifying.  That would be gruesome.

The thought of injecting raw silicone straight into my body is terrifying. I wouldn't do it not matter how desperate I was to change my body. However, there are much safer ways of getting augmentation in that area if you do the research.
