Oprah Winfrey Catches Up With Thomas Beatie, AKA Pregnant Man

Beatie grabbed headlines in 2008 when he gave birth to his first child, Susan Juliette. Two more children, Austin Alexander and Jensen James, followed.

In a clip from the episode released by the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), Beatie is seen explaining to his daughter that her father birthed her.
"Who's inside my belly?" Beatie asks Susan as he points to a picture of himself.
"That's me," Susan yells.
"She has an abstract understanding of what's happened and she realizes that she came from me, that I am truly her birth parent. The task is trying to get her to realize that not all fathers, especially the ones with big bellies, give birth," Beatie said.
